But when i saw the pictures below from the new office building I was more than delighted that not every single piece had gone to the museum!
They have built a giant wall of Spiegellamps and also reused the bar and some furniture from the old office, all of which looks amazing in the new building.
Happy to know that the heritage still lives inside the company  and that Pantons spirit is still there.

Here are my two new friends that has joined the collection and family of Pantonaef animals.
First is a beautiful cow in blue with the original Pantonaef, light grey ID plate.
I have been wanting a Pantonaef cow for a very long time and now finally I had the chance to get one which made me very happy.
The cow is the largest of the original Pantonaef animals and it uses a huge amount of cubes, you could actually build almost four rabbits with the same amount of cubes!

Talking of Rabbits, that is the second animal to join me here.
I decided to make this in mixed red which I think looks great!
Again this one has the original light grey ID plate which is quite rare.

Just to let you know, I am always looking for more Pantonaef parts so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any.

So a big thanks to the person selling me these new animals, you know who you are!

But when this very nice multicolor fabric turned up at a local auction i could not resist it.

It is one of the most desireble fabrics that Verner designed, the large Curve in multicolor.

I do have many examples of this fabric in velour but do not have it in cotton from before so it is a welcome addition.

As you might know the Spiegel lamps were made in both Aluminium, steel and glassfibre, and I guess the reason was that they made them in different factories and also depending on where they were supposed to be used different materials were chosen.
Anyway, I recently bought two Spiegel lamps in glassfibre and most likely will get some more glassfibre lamps soon and now feel that this lamp does not fit into the collection, I want to focus on getting more glassfibre versions instead.

Back in 2003 I was on tour with Swedish band The Ark and we were playing the Train club in the Danish city of Aarhus.
I had gotten in contact with a fellow Panton collector in Aarhus which had a very nice chrome SPO1 spiral lamp that he was thinking of selling so I paid him a visit while I was there.
This lamp had an intresting story since it most likely had been hanging in the Varna restaurant outside of Aarhus.
Of course this could not be proven but it still had a purple clothcovered cable which all of the chrome SPO1´s in the main dining room had,and this was proof enough for me.
Anyway, not sure why but I never bought the lamp from him but it was alot of fun to talk to another collector that shared my passion.
He showed me around his house and he had many nice items in his collecion.
Then we walked down to the basement and down there two white Type H ball lamps were hanging.
I was quite amazed that these two rare lamps hanging down in the basement and not over his dining table but he was quick to explain why.
The previous owners had by mistake exposed the lamps to heat and many of the balls had crumbled and was sunken together and had big bumps in them.
His plan was to restore them at some point and they were not for sale.

Fast forward to 2011.
A few months ago I was contacted by a friend and he told me that he had been offered a White Type H ball lamp.
I instantly thought about the two lamps that I had seen many years before.
What had happened to them I did not know since I lost touch with the owner a some time after I had visited him.
My friend was not interested in the lamp and passed it on to me and asking the owner where he had bought the lamp he told me that he had bought it in Aarhus several years before!
By then I was up on small clouds and could not resist buying the lamp, who would have known that I would get to buy one of the lamps I had seen so many years before and had thought about so many times over the years, wondering what had happened to them.
It arrived about a week later and was in quite good condition with only a few balls that had some small damage.
I guess that the guy in Århus had made one good lamp out of the two but that is only my guess, maybe one of the lamps I saw back then was in better condition than the other, I honestly can not remember.

But the story does not end there!
When I told another fellow collector about my new purchase he said that he had been offered another white Type H lamp recently that was in very bad condition.
I could not believe what I was hearing since this must be the second lamp that I had seen so many years before.
We did a quick research and sure enough, this lamp came from the same guy in Aarhus as well!!
Once again I knew I had to buy this lamp eve though it was in bad condition, the price was right and there was enough good balls to use it.

So now these lamp has come full circle and are permanently in my collection.
So thanks to everyone involved that made this lamp find its way to me after all of these years!

First I was blessed to find not one, not two but three 50cm large Flowerpots in different colors!
They were the yellow, red and the rare turqois versions, all in great condition and in just beautiful and breathtaking colors!
Now I only need the orange and blue/purple version to complete my collection.
Anyone out there that can help me?

Then I also picked up this beautiful pink, glassfiber Spiegel lamp which is the exact same color as my original shades from Verners and Mariannes former home!
I will try to repaint the dome in the same pink color, the original dome was long missing so I got this unpainted aluminium dome with the lamp.
Would love to get more of the Spiegel lamps, since I bought my first one earlier this year I am hooked, I just love this lamp!

Another great find on this trip was this piece of Mira-X wall-to-wall carpet which is the exact same type that was used in the Varna restaurant.
I guess this piece was a sample from a shop since it seems to have never been used.
I have never seen this type of carpet in real life, only in pictures from the Varna restaurant, like in this link

Interesting thing about these wall to wall carpets is that Verner only used four colors for the multicolor patterns.

Finally for this time around i picked up a very cute Pantonaef bus in grey and blue.
Coolest thing about this bus is that it has one of the rare printed grey plates with the Pantonaef text!

When it arrived I was quite stunned, it was a thin flexidisc with a color shot of a bunch of Flowerpots on one side and information from LP on the other.
Apparently this was a promotional record made by Louis Poulsens marketing division.
It features one song, “The Flower-Pot Melody”, composed, arranged and perfomrmed by a mysterious man named Götz Humpf!
I contacted Marianne Panton about it and she clearly remembered the record but had no idea who this Götz person was.
Does anyone out there know??
